  We have many different types of gardens we can create. There are many styles, colors and textures to personalize your yard. Many of our varieties include native plants, healing gardens, entry and shade gardens, curb appeal, English gardens, cottage and butterfly gardens.

  Retail Nursery

  We have a full 9 acres of property loaded with beautiful trees, shrubs, evergreens and perennials, drought tolerant plants and rain garden plants at competitive prices. We also offer a wide selection of fruit trees such as apple, plum, cherry, blueberry, and rhubarb just to name a few. All of our nursery stock is locally grown and northern hardy. Every week during the growing season the nursery takes on a new palette; different flower color, texture, shape and fall color. Please stop in…we would love to see you.

  Water Features

  Often water features can add harmony to your landscape. We can design pond-less waterfalls, water gardens, ponds, bubbling rocks, rain containment, streams, waterfalls and water fountains.

  Bulk Rock & Mulch

  We carry a large selection of bulk rock & mulch varieties. We also have available pulverized black dirt, washed sand & compost soil. These products are available for pick-up or delivery.

  Landscape Supplies

  We carry all your landscaping supplies to complete your landscaping project. Our list of supplies includes but not limited to: commercial grade edging, paver edging, spikes & sand, fabric, poly, edging stakes, fabric/sod staples, erosion control blankets to name a few. We also have a full line of high quality organic & non-organic fertilizers, non-synthetic soil amendments and several varieties of quality grass seed. Other products include compost and manure, peat moss, straw, lime and gypsum.

  Irrigation

  At Shades of Green we will design your irrigation system to cover every aspect of your yard. With our "best in the business" designers nothing will go un-watered. We also install drip irrigation systems for water conservation, rain sensors and soil sensors to minimize water usage.   Sod and Seeding

  Shades of Green uses only quality products at competitive prices. We provide our customers with excellent turf grass for our residential and commercial customers. The turf grass is made up of a blend of all Scotts Elite Variety Kentucky Bluegrasses. The quality lawn seed we offer is for the many different growing conditions. We have blends of seed for sunny, some shade, dense shade, sandy or dry soils, high traffic or low maintenance. Our customers are extremely pleased with the results of our sod and seed.
